What happened to the mobile boarding pass option? It is missing after checking in online?

There are several reasons why you might not get your BP.
1. (as said) Airport does not support it.
2. There are multiple passengers on the same booking code.
3. You or one of the passengers is not allowed to get a BP and has to go to the check-in counter.

I am also not getting the mobile boarding pass, but this is probably due to the fact that more people are on the same booking.

In my experience, you can get mobile BPs with up to 4 people (not tried with more than 4) on the same booking (PNR). You get the choice to send the personalised BPs to 4 different e-mail addresses.
However, no Passbook BP with at least 2 people on the same PNR.
