Today PVG-AMS at airport check in, actually reconfirming my onward flight after a mess with the typhoon in the Shanghai area, €899 from Economy to Business. Didn’t take it, was offered Economy Comfort seat for free.

AMS-GLA tomorrow, the usual 69 euros with 10 available at T-16. Looks quite wide open with 5 rows of J.
Edit: same for midday return flight tomorrow, EUR 69 at T-14, 4/4 available.

VIE-AMS yesterday, 99 Eur. Y was oversold, two passengers upgraded to J (which flew out 2/8).
NB: the aircraft was boarded through both front and back door - passengers boarding through the back door had to walk out of the bridge and onto the apron. Inevitably, this led to a chaos (since people boarded through the back despite being seated in row 11).

In my experience with KL (mostly AMS and CPH) as well as other airlines (e.g. SK), it works really well. Only rarely do I see somebody who has used the wrong door battle his way up or down the aisle against the flow of traffic.
On disembarkation there is no wrong door to pick, pax naturally move towards the closest one.

Yes, you get every perk you would get with a bought BC ticket: lounge access, priority luggage dropoff & check in, boarding, etc.
Don't expect too much from the lounge, it's under construction and the food is quite disappointing.

Also (in my experience), it's all about the fare of your ticket. When I fly on my own dime, as cheap as possible, I never get an OLCI offer. When I fly for work, full-flex ticket, I have never not received an offer.

How would they know you are an elite without your FB number?

Newbie to KLM.
I cannot find a specific thread to post this question on so I am posting it here.
Can KLM award reservations be held for some days before purchasing them - like they can be with AA (up to 5 days)?
A related topic. Are Chase Ultimate Reward points posted instantly on KLM or does it take some time?
TIA
