Anyone have insight when JFK-CUN will start? Is the DOT sleeping or what? B6 filed this application months ago...

Wasn't CUN pretty much flattened by Hurricane Wilma? If so, B6 probably isn't in much of a hurry to start service...

It seems DOT has not yet made a decision. Several airlines have submitted requests to operate EWR/JFK - CUN. As of now, the timeline of DOT is as follows: supplements/amendments to applications will be due no later than January 17, 2006; answers will be due no later than January 23, 2006; and replies will be due no later than January 27, 2006.
