Reason for delay …. Gate change???
My flight JFK-LAX has been delayed 2.5 hours. I called JetBlue to ask for the reason for the delay. The agent was having a really hard time with this. She then said, “The reason for the delay is a gate change.”
Hmm…. Ok….
Let me rant a bit here. I really don’t get JetBlue. It’s not that delays are more common. But JetBlue doesn’t have a good infrastructure to deal with them. The website and the app provide little to help stranded customers. Endorsing to other carriers is a non-starter. Connecting airports provide no lounge. And Mint is truly sub-par these days,

No disputing that their ops are terrible, and their ability to salvage the CX during times of operations failures is non-existent. Short of select routes (JFK/BOS-LAX), Mint beats the rest for domestic/Caribbean travel any day

if you MUST have a flatbed than I guess....To me, I am perfectly fine without a flatbed on most routes within the continental US. I am perfectly fine with the DL F seat on the A321NEO. Its an absolutely phenomenal product that comes with the signature DL service and on-time performance and lounge access. I've had flatbeds on several carriers on LAX-JFK (B6, DL and AA) and I don't think I've ever had the seat in the fully flat position.
