Recently / Soon To Be Dropped Cities

To go along with the jetBlue is Shrinking thread, I wanted to start a list of cities that B6 is / will be dropping:
Since we need a line, let's say cities served by B6 through June of 2023 that have gotten or are getting the ax.

The two that I know of are:

BTV
BWI

Any others?

Seems like BWI would have been a good opportunity to grow but apparently not. No flights to JFK to LGA from the DC area, and already has a lot of low cost carriers (maybe the issue?). DMV area is pretty large, now only have minimal flights from DCA to BOS, FLL and a few random seasonal points....big market but guess SWA, AA and UA is too much to compete with

It's on an A220 because the A320 often had trouble flying back to JFK without taking a weight restriction or making a fuel stop. The downgauge isn't actually a material loss of any capacity.

In the last several years they have ended JFK-IAD (and closed down IAD), started and ended JFK-DCA, and are now closing down BWI. The NY-DC market is relatively saturated between DL/AA/UA and Amtrak and the bus companies. You're either taking a legacy airline or you're not paying a premium to fly. JetBlue just doesn't fit into that picture anymore. With the lack of reliability many corporate and government travelers have moved their business to other carriers. It's sad since DCA-SJU was a unique route that always did reasonably well (and it's saved my ss a couple of times).

There's a fairly loyal customer base in the tv/film industry. BUR is very close to multiple studios. I was surprised that it couldn't sustain a second daily flight.

That is what kind of surprises me. A lot of the connections I want to make are through JFK. DCA-BOS is almost hourly, but zero DCA-JFK? I get it's a bit saturated but filling a E195 of A220 can't be that out of the question right? I dont know, I am not a C-suite exec so

They tried JFK-DCA late last year, 3x daily, and have already dropped it. The whole thing was very odd. I can't see why that route wouldn't have been a hit, other than the fact that JetBlue can't get out of its own way when it comes to operational reliability. Perhaps the DC customer base has started to realize that and take their business elsewhere.

Snark aside, I'm honestly really surprised JFK-DCA didn't work out. They barely gave it a chance.

BWI is only barely a DC area airport, and Baltimore-NYC is one of the few Amtrak routes that's actually competitive with flying.

Not to mention that BWI is a literal SWA hub. JetBlue wants to have nothing to do with that.

Will they ever reinstate IAD again? They left Dulles a long time ago.
