I had Mosaic 1 for 2024 and just hit my 50 tile mark 2 days ago and earned Mosaic 1 status for 2025. Along with that, I was given the choice to select a perk which I then selected the 20 tile perk thinking it would apply in 2025 and give me a head start, however, it went thru right away and put me at 70 tiles. I called JB, had them remove the perk, and asked if I waited til January 1st could I then use the 20 tiles perk, and the rep told me no, that my perk would expire on 12/31. Now do I risk it and wait til January to see if the rep was wrong? Or do I just select the 15k pts perk now so as not to lose the perk all together?

At least according to rules in place 11 months ago, the agent you talked to was incorrect. Last year, perks DID NOT expire. I saved my Mosaic 2 perk and redeemed for 20 tiles in January 2024.

It really is sad that this program is so confusing that even folks that are supposed to be trained to understand it, still do not understand it.

Got the email congratulating me for making Mosaic 2 (exactly 100 tiles to end the year). While the email said that a 20 tile boost was one of the options, that was not the case when I logged into my account. Perhaps that changes on 1/1 so I’ll wait to choose.

So I am really confused. I just hit 50 tiles on my jetblue account and the 20 tile perk unlocked, however, it says it expires on 12/31/24, what I am trying to do is wait till next year and then select the perk then so that I only need 30 additional tiles next year. Is this possible.

It has worked for me in the past�. I�m trying the same this year as well - waiting to pick it until next year.

Tiles apply (and will be added to tile balance) immediately after selection for the year in which they were selected. Tile balances reset to 0 on January 1 of each year. I saw similar behavior last year... Give it a few weeks and see if the option becomes available later, it was mid-January in my case before 20 tiles was available to pick. If not, you could always head over to the Reddit JetBlue thread where there is an active trading group of people mutually gifting each other tiles.

So just checking -- is it likely safe to go ahead and Start with the 20 tile bonus? Shows as a perk and the tiles have reset...?

I used my carryover perk on it as soon as I had the option, and got 20 tiles showing in my balance for 2025. I don't want to deal with another "auto-selected" perk, or the option mysteriously disappearing.
