Got two emails this AM about SAN flights to the East coast and back changing times by 2-4 hours each (both shortening our trip). "Click Here" to manage your trip and make a free change up to a day ahead or a day later", but the website has been down on the Manage Trips page for the past 5 hours. Is it worth calling instead?

We had paid about 50,000 points for the R/T originally, even though the flights are pretty empty they are now 71,000 points each way. Flights are 2 weeks before Thanksgiving and on Black Friday |
I thought I'd seen slow... and then I tried booking a couple trips tonight. Literally took me 30 seconds per click. Totally not responsive. I've seen better performance from a dial-up modem. Not to mention all the crappy tie-ins that load first and slow everything down.

I’ll pile on I guess. Tried to book this evening, simple round trip. Was like a return to the 90s with timeouts and dial up speeds. Eventually gave up after two failed bookings and did it through chase portal (which somehow worked). Now just debating forking over 104 per person for even more room or seeing if the price drops in the future. It’s a red eye so I’m a bit tempted but I don’t know if the extra leg room will make much of a difference.

With most airlines, they send you a confirmation even if it takes a few minutes to actually ticket the reservation. JetBlue's website is the opposite. It makes you wait with a screen that says "Do not close or navigate away from this page or you could lose your flight" which seems a lot less customer friendly? There have been times where I've sat on that page for so long that I pulled up my email on my phone just to see if I had gotten a confirmation email. When that email comes, I just close the window because it's clearly stuck :td:

Currently I'm in a sign-in circular error. I'm signed in, I select a flight, it tells me to sign in, I do, and then it only displays the flight with "Cancel" and "Sign In" as options. Lather, rinse, repeat.

That happens once in a while. Try clearing your cache and any JB cookies from your browser and try again. That generally works for me.

So, the "fix" is apparently to NOT select "use points" on the home screen when searching for a flight, and instead wait for the search results to come up; then you can switch from money to points at that step.

I have been a sporadic JetBlue flyer for years but recent activity got me to Mosaic 3 this year (LOTS of work travel) and I finally tried digging into True Blue...over the last 4 months i haven't once been able to get into the dang webpage after logging in (yes, log in credentials are correct) - the page just will. not. load. Any advice? Same issue with the app! |

To add my frustrations, the preview seat map on the app NEVER seems to match the actual seat map (seats available for selection). And perhaps coincidence, but I’ve found seats available are always worse than the preview shows (i.e., preview shows fours pairs of seats in Mint to choose from, whereas reality is a bunch of non- throne single seats available).

Makes sense, but the Mosaic perk is row 2 mint thrones and I’m Mosaic 3 (by earn, not match). Flights preview will show row 1 and 3 fully available but only singles in 3 and 5 available. I have expert flyer paid so have made it a habit to check there now first.

It's because I haven't booked any flights or canceled and re-booked any flights. The last time I did that, probably just outside the six month window, it was a complete disaster.

The website is really struggling today. I eventually got it to show, but I can't type in a destination without it saying they don't fly there.

I had a schedule change a few weeks ago. The schedule change eliminated all flights past noon on that day, and the system auto-rebooked me for the next morning. The email said that if the rebooked flight was not acceptable, I could rebook myself +/- 2 days. After getting my trip sorted out where I would leave a day later, I tried to change my flight, but the Change and Cancel options were greyed out. I went through the chat bot which refused to connect me to an agent if I truthfully told it that I needed help with a schedule change (and told me to do it myself on the website... idiots!). I ended up selecting a different issue (I think it might have been tech support? Which was tangentially related I guess?) and was connected to an agent who was able to rebook me to the flight I wanted.
The website and the chat bot are woefully inaedequate. |

Had a shocking experience with an airline automated chat yesterday. I had a couple of questions about cancellations and credits, and the chat answered my questions perfectly and accurately. I think it was AI but it was so correct that perhaps it was actually human.
This was with Spirit Airlines. -J. |
JetBlue website just doesn’t work properly
After several hours comparing flights and providers I go to the point where all my JB choices were complete and was left over an hour waiting for JB to issue my tickets. It never happened. I quit and went to Frontier and bought my tickets from them how poorly managed JB is.

Two new issues:
1) Someone my middle name is not auto-populating for new reservations, so I basically do the workaround of booking as if I'm a new traveler, filling out ALL the information. 2) Mint seats were displayed as Core on the seatmap during seat selection process. |

Re: 2) The "core" seat map glitch is also unlocking 2A/2F (Mint) for all; rendering the Suite Priority Perk useless. 3) Chat has been glitching in the app. I can see conversations that other people are having. |
