As other posters have noted, when searching for flights the web site displays seat maps that show all seats unavailable -- even for flights months in the future. Proper seat maps seem to appear once a flight has been selected and the checkout process is started. Unfortunately, this means you may have to go through a trial-and-error process by removing the flight from your cart and selecting another flight.

Still no seat maps tonight. So, I went to expertflyer and it had the correct information on open Mint seats so I could make sure I was choosing a flight with one of the singles open. During checkout, the seat map showed properly.

AND, it's March 1 and the promised new Mosaic "Tiles" and 4 level system is not showing up. SHOCKER! Yet I already got an email that I have qualified for 2024 Mosaic status using the new points/cash system criteria.

How seriously bad is their IT department? Are they still running Windows 2000 servers?

Wow that's incredible. Expert flyer has a beautiful website with all the seats displayed and related availability. And they aren't even selling airline flights. Then we have the airline that is trying to sell flights, and the website is a pathetic useless mess. I cannot believe that the people behind the Jetblue IT mess still get a paycheck and remain employed.

I just opened a United co-branded card, so I'll be moving most of my flying there for better scheduling of my segment. Bumping B6 to my backup. It's been fun.

Welcome to the other side. I can appreciate bluegrass as much as anyone, the grass really is greener elsewhere.

At this point, I only fly JetBlue if (1) I am using points, or (2) I have someone else book it for me through a SABRE-facing portal. Between the IT difficulties and the operational reliability issues, I'm over it.

With that being said, my flight yesterday went without a hitch (other than LTV and Fly-Fi not working). But that's another complaint for another thread.

speaking of non working Wi-Fi, just landed from MCO. Wasn’t working. Is there any recourse for a credit or points or something, or how to go about getting said credit?

I usually text them on iMessage with my confirmation code and tell them that the IFE was not working. They'll add $15 to your Travel Bank

What dx3003 said. Back in the day, wifi was not guaranteed and you wouldn't receive squat if it didn't work -- only the LTV and XM. I don't know what the current policy is. Shame since the wifi works for me >90% of the time (which is sadly less than 100%, but it sure beats having to pay for it on other carriers).

Back on topic: trying to see if I can use my points for a flight home from the MCI DO, and nothing wants to load. A.k.a. a day ending in the letter Y :rolleyes: UPDATE: foiled again, still can't combine points and Travel Bank online. I have a feeling that will never come back, and I'll be damned if I give them $5 of free money.

Seat maps still non functional. At some point I'm wondering what the benefit is for them to not have fixed this by now

FWIW I had no issue with the seat map when I last posted on Monday. In my experience it doesn't always work on the first try, sometimes you need to close out and start over, and that seems to do the trick.

its funny, all my most recent flights the last few years have been on B6, i can't remember a time i didnt stress about actually booking the flight because of a website. maybe like 2018 on AA? i figure booking a reward seat or seats should be more fun and exciting then actual work honestly...

You still can't combine points and Travel Bank online. I know this isn't a "broken website" issue and is actually a devaluation, but whatever.

I just got off the phone with reservations in Manila :confused::confused: and managed to book two tickets and use up my Travel Bank. Both of these are speculative and at least one will be canceled. Ideally I will cancel both and take AA home or another option on a third day, but it's dark and I don't feel like getting up to get my credit card. I suppose I can complain that the phone line is broken as I was quoted a 4-minute wait time and I wasn't connected until nearly 30 minutes later.

In other news, my two itineraries showed up on jetblue.com immediately. The new Manage Reservations format looks fantastic and (for now) seems to work really well. On one of them I was able to change my seat in less than a minute, which I'm pretty sure is unheard of.

I just spent the last two hours trying to give them $2000 dollars of my money for my bi-annual trip to GYE to no avail. First it said an error some seats might be taken, credit card wouldn’t go through etc. I will now spend the next ~48 hours or so looking for an alternative airline, even if the cost is more.

I can’t even see my trip in the app. Not just the seats but the entire thing. Says it’s an invalid record locator. On my lap top no problem. Not too reassuring though. This is normal issues for B6? Def have bad IT but don’t recall this in the past.

Not just me then. Whenerver I've tried to view my trips in the app today, it tries and never finishes loading the list of trips.

Horrible ! Not even sure why I’m doing this. No lounge. No foot rest , seat only lowers and doesn’t redline and they can’t serve anything but ice cream for dessert. This mag be my last Mint flight. Their IT really blows

Btw I now can see it in the app as it was time to check in and from the email it took me to the app and it’s working now.

i think i found something on amex travel via AA that i can book. just have to book and then pick the seats on the AA website afterwards. B6 could have had my money in full already if not for those "errors"

Today I tried to log in and go to manage flights. Every time I entered my credentials I ended up on a "Pick your flight" page, and couldn't get to manage flights. I had to go the route of not signing in and entering the confirmation code

It looks like it's a Frankenstein seat map with the A321LR mint cabin followed by the A321neo economy cabin (rows 1-4 and 16-18 EMS with regular economy in between)...

This was a first for me. Booked a flight over the phone because Travel Bank and TrueBlue (which is no longer a site issue, and is now in my mind at least a program enhancement :rolleyes:) and while I got the Travel Bank purchase email I never received the itinerary itself. The website allows you to print your itinerary, save it as a PDF :confused:, or add it to a calendar, but there is no option to email it to yourself or anyone else.

ETA: oh man, glad I took a closer look at this trip. The contact number listed for me is literally 1-800-JETBLUE :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

Trying to update profile info (FF# and tel #) on my booking and when I click the continue looks to update forever and doesn't.

Is this a normal problem and have to call in to update? I rarely fly B6.

The past few months, I have had issues booking award tickets. After the last confirmation step, the website just kept "spinning", and then timeout. When this happened, the miles were deducted from my Trueblue account, but the credit card was never charged for the taxes and fees. If I check my TB account right after, the trips were there, as "confirmed" but not "ticketed". After ~30 minutes, the trips were cancelled. I had to always call to book.
This bug is very annoying, and caused me to miss a few good priced tickets. Have anyone had this issue? Is there a way to fix this? I asked JB reps, but they had no clues.

The other day, I couldn't cancel a flight via the app. Ended up finding success on the mobile website (which is funny since it's basically the same thing), and I also reached out on Twitter in case I needed their help. I was on a time crunch as we were already taxiing for an on-time takeoff on AA.

I will admit that (other than the site being dead slow sometimes, which could be a result of my P.O.S. work computer) I've had zero issues with jetblue.com lately. The app is still essentially useless, but for the few things it does do, they've been working as well.

I'm running out of things to complain about!

I'm going to guess it's because NEA died, so they didn't have new features they had to implement. If that ever comes back, watch out!
