Do you have a link to this instagram post? It was *assumed* that N2102J would be a Mint aircraft given how it was delivered later and has a tail number higher than 2100. As far as I know, there are no photos of N2102J at all until the instagram post you mentioned.

Looks like the revised plan for 2022 is 10 A321neos to be delivered this year. 5 LRs, and 5 in the Mint configuration.

They need those planes desperately.

Unfortunately, I don't think they are getting more a331 this year than previously reported. I saw the internal email that said all 11 a321s next year will be mint configured. 5 of which are lr variant. Imo, still barely covers the new mint routes they added since 2020.

I have also heard they are looking into new configuration for the post merger world. I would be very surprised if we don't start seeing domestic first on a321s.

Interesting thing to note: N4074J was delivered with the name "By AppointMint Only" but was renamed "Mint The Gap" before being sent to Paris to be on display for the Paris Air Show.

Looks like the first A321XLR is being built now. N5003J shows a production line number.
