My method is to add products I need through links however I find them (via dansdeals, hip2save, etal) to my cart and save for later. Then, when I am ready to purchase hours/days later, I click my bookmarked B6 link and from my list, click through to each product page and add them to my cart. After purchase, I go back to my save for later list and delete each product.

Not sure what you are doing wrong. I have had no problems at all with it. You must go through the affiliate link and then add the items to your cart from there. I have got over 45,000 points in the last year as I do a lot of buying for the company I work for from amazon. I just wish there was options for me to use the points for other things besides flights.

I tracked my purchases by date and amount to see when and if they will appear on my trublue account. Started in Dec and the first few have appeared. So far... many many points are missing.

From Dec 1st until Dec 21st I spent $1170. How many points did I earn? 664.

Yup... 664. I could have gotten cash back from other sites so this really stings. So even if you take into account tax (which not all purchases had) I should have made out at lease 3200 points.

i love this program. I have had every purchase (but one) post -- earning 100k+ in jetblue points in 2017. make sure you have an empty cart at amazon before you click the jetblue link.

I just went through my purchases since 10/1/17 and everything but a few transactions has tracked correctly. Honestly I probably forgot to start on jetblue.com for those missed transactions. Seems like it takes about 30-45 days to post but when the points posts on jetblue.com it uses the original purchase date.

I tracked about 5K TrueBlue points in 3 months; pretty happy combining this with MileagePlus X & AT&T Access for 6.5x return on regular spend.

New to TrueBlue, made Amazon purchase and miles posted in about 30 days. I would suggest making sure you click through the Jet Blue site. Do not have Amazon windows open prior to your shopping trip. Other posters suggested the item not be in your shopping cart beforehand.

Not sure if this works, but if you have two browsers on your computer, you could try using one to browse Amazon and your items, while clicking through Jet Blue and making the Amazon purchase on the other browser.

All of this advice... have nothing in your cart, don't have an Amazon window open, don't save for later, only purchase during the full moon...

I have miles from dozens of purchases through the American Airlines shopping portal post without fail every single time and the miles post in a matter of days, not months.. And...it doesn't matter what's in my cart, if I have bookmarks or if it is a day of the week that begins with a T, etc.

Bottom line, the JetBlue-Amazon program is flawed.

Apples to oranges. The AA shopping portal does not have Amazon, and the method of tracking is not the same.

I will agree however, that it is flawed. It is flawed in the sense that Jetblue does not control the process; Amazon does.

With AA shopping, Cartera buys the miles from American and contracts with merchants to cooperate with the process (ie providing categorized receipts, broken down totals, etc) for a commission/fee in return for the "referral." Cartera then pays you a small cut of the fees they received from the merchant in the form of miles. If anything goes wrong, you can contact Cartera, and they will research the problem, and credit you if they find that you did everything correctly, and your purchase conforms to the rules. If you didn't read the fine print and/or did not follow the rules, then you will not receive any miles. They pay sooner because they have the ability to claw back your miles if you return the items.

With JetBlue and Amazon, this is all done on Amazon's end. Amazon does not offer the commission as a reward. They simply pay it out to the affiliate which is JetBlue. What JetBlue does with the money is not Amazon's business. So, if something does go wrong, the best thing that can happen is that JetBlue throws some pity miles your way, because JetBlue was not paid. Amazon will not help you as you are not a party to the affiliate program. Amazon does not pay JetBlue until at least a month later because they need to wait for the return window to close. Amazon isn't going to try to claw back money from JetBlue if you return an item.

Either way, you will not receive miles if you do not follow the rules/instructions. If you had an item in your cart before clicking through AA Shopping, I'm willing to bet that your miles will not post there automatically either.

It's too bad that JetBlue doesn't offer any helpful instructions on the partner page to help people who may do things unique to Amazon such as "Save for later."

I'll keep these good tips in mind as I'm about to make a purchase from Amazon (using gift cards). But just wondering if it is possible to get a credit for past purchases made through Amazon, where I basically forgot to go through JetBlue...

I'm not so sure I agree that the tracking is all that different. In both cases it depends on browser cookies being set and maintained properly throughout the shopping experience. There are LOTS of ways that breaks. And in either case a broken transaction won't get you the points. One has a 3rd party in the middle but the general tracking is nearly identical.

Hmmm...I just wiped out all of my JetBlue cookies in Chrome. Let's see if that fixes my issue the next time I order from Amazon.

Amazon cookies are the more likely culprit.

Running any ad-block type plugin nearly universally breaks these things, too, IME.

I've had 100% of my purchases track with incognito and adding items from there. Amazon just tracks differently from most merchants, and Amazon affiliate links are EVERYWHERE. If it's not tracking for you, you probably clicked some other affiliate link earlier and that's attached to your purchases. PEBKAC
