Shake Shack is delicious but a little overpriced IMO.

I have a long (5 hour) layover between B6 flight from SAV before departing for SFO. I have Priority Pass membership through Chase Reserve card. There is a Priority Pass lounge listed for T1 and T4. Are you allowed into Terminal 4 if your ticket is with B6?

Yes, but is it worth clearing security twice (and transiting between the terminals) just to go to a lounge? And is there not an earlier JFK-SFO flight you could try to get on?

T1 security can be a bear at times, line snaking around. Will be doing the dance Friday night at T1.

For 5 hours, it might be worth clearing security twice. The price difference was $350 ($899 mint vs $549 mint) for the earlier flight. BTW, I had never seen a mint below $599 before. This is on a Saturday, if that matters. I could not pass up the savings.

I wonder how it is on Saturday midday? Is T4 any easier? Both have PP lounges.

So just to reconfirm, you can get into another terminal (T1 or T4) even though your boarding pass is for T5?

Try doing same day standby for an earlier flight. Never done this for mint, but I would assume it's the same policy under jetblue.

Hey, great idea! Only $50 as I recall, and well worth it! Thanks!

Even if you don't get on the earlier flight, T5 isn't a bad place to wait. You can almost always find an empty gate area to spread out and work if you need to.

Not to me. Putting aside the hour you'll spend going back and forth and dealing with the extra security, what are you going to do there? The JetBlue terminal offers wifi, power outlets, reasonable F&B options and good views, depending on what you want to see or where you choose to sit.

Yes.

Also, the standby/same-day change option thing is a good idea. Standby is free for the flight immediately prior to yours. Or confirm on anything earlier for $50, assuming the seats are open.

OK, I am learning a lot today. I did not know I could stand by for immediately prior JetBlue flight for free! Never saw that in any of their rules. Thanks for the tip.

Don't forget an outdoor rooftop area that is behind security with a great view of the parking lot structure.
