Two Different Confirmation Codes for One Group

I booked tickets for myself, my husband and my son (9 yr old special needs).

I had to add mine and my husband's middle name after the booking. This was done by our travel agent.

My husband and I now have a different confirmation code than my son.

JetBlue said that it would not be a problem and put each confirmation code in the notes for each reservation. They said that we would not be separated and given the same priority as him due to his special needs.

Has anyone run into problems having 2 different confirmation codes for international travel?

They told me they could not fix it. I am very concerned.

They won't be able to fix it unless they reticket the entire thing. Having 2 codes isn't a problem. You can still have seats together and everything.

We do have seats together. I just didn't want any problems with them being separate.

Do you all have the same last name? If so, I think any GA would notice that plus the minor child before making any changes. But I agree with the other poster that you should be fine regardless. Separate reservation numbers shouldn't cause a seating issue.

As an aside, I'm also a travel agent and I think it's interesting you ended up with 2 reservation numbers. I've never had that happen after making an update after booking.

Other than if you have status and are planning to get the premium economy seat, there's no difference.
