BNA-SAV?

I didn't think B6 was coming to BNA until May 5th.

Any ideas what this was all about?

If you look below that flight, you'll see that it's a BNA-BOS flight that was diverted probably due to weather and winds (the wind is howling here in BOS).

I see that, but

1. Why were they even here? Service doesn't start until May 5.
2. Why would they go as far as NYC to divert to Savannah? They are numerous other acceptable diversion airports that would have been closer.

Nashville is home to a Embraer maintenance facility. Heavy checks and Fly-Fi installations are done there.

The plane may have diverted to SAV because the plane was likely going to operate BOS-SAV-BOS the next morning and rather than cancel both segments they cancelled only one by placing the plane in position for the return leg.

The E190s come to BNA all the time for maintenance. I follow a number of pilots and spotters on Instagram and I've seen many photos of B6 planes at BNA.

May I ask who you follow? I would love to follow some pilots, especially B6 ones, and getting more glimpses into the lives of pilots.
