Looks like they got it!!

From Albany Business Review...
JetBlue Airways has confirmed the carrier will come to Albany International Airport.
After months of negotiation, JetBlue executives and U.S. Sen. Charles Schumer will visit Albany International Airport this morning to announce the move. The airline will begin service out of Albany, NY in late 2015.
More details on routes and fares will be announced closer to the open date.
JetBlue's business in Albany will increase the number of flights, boost competition and lower fares, Schumer said. Albany joins the JetBlue fleet that already serves Buffalo, Rochester and Syracuse.
The Albany market will be JetBlue's eighth location in New York state, said Loren Duran, a spokesperson for the airline.

Sen. Charles Schumer has joined local officials and executives from New York-based JetBlue to make the announcement Monday at Albany International Airport in suburban Colonie.

JetBlue will start operations at the airport in 2015. Schumer says Florida will be one of the destinations serviced by JetBlue. Specific routes haven't been announced.

Lets hope they are really smart about what routes will be offered. I hate to assume but seems to make sense a ALB-JFK or ALB-BOS would offer allot more connections to other B6 cities.

Seems airliners thinks DCA is one city pair from ALB, and perhaps Florida.

Perhaps this has to do with it:
