Tempting. Will banjos strum in the background on that de-luxe connection?

I'll see what I can do.

Looks like I'll be in town from the 18th through the 25th but will be doing battle with an eagle in Chiyoda rather than a bear noontime on the 19th. IF anyone wants to grab a drink one evening or do something on the weekend drop me a PM.

Alas, despite my newbie enthusiasm (and some kind hints from mabo regulars) I've been roped into a snowboarding trip tomorrow, so I'll have to catch up with you all next time! Let's hope it's worth it (I'm going to be driving ... sigh)...

Too bad. Until next time, then. Speaking of rope, I recall the days when a "ski lift" was sometimes nothing more than a rope being mechanically pulled upslope. You would just grab and hold on all the way to the top. Of course, snowboarding didn't even exist in those days...but mabo did! (maybe)

I think I'll go for the ursa minor tomorrow rather than the ursa major...

Top causes of global warming:
1) Burning of fossil fuels (emission of CO2)
2) Arctic tundra, wetlands, cattle (release of methane gas)
3) FT Mabokai (other emissions)

Hello fellow whatever you are's...

My current and only accidental Japan tourist itin (not Scho does biz in JPN itin) has a potential Mabo (err beer and dim sum 4 me) date of March 11.
Throwing it out there to see if we can agree.

I'm on SQ12 that eve at 18:30 in C.

If the group can gather I promise I'll be there unless I can find a way to fly HKG-SFO/LAX in F in the 10th.

If the 11th doesn't work for the group, LMK quick so I can book other plans.

Cheers,

Scho

Shhhh. Nobody excepy you knows I'll be in Tokyo.
