Put a
on your face, if I stay here and start something else I will run afoul of the authorities.....wouldn't want that
!
My signs come down on Monday!
The best reaction so far from a former client was how I was going to inconvenience them by closing down, as they might have wanted to patronize my establishment again!
I would rather let some young turk fill my shoes and work for 1500 Yen an hour!

Sorry to hear about QSG relinquishing his Kyushu tenure (especially before I got a chance to visit).
On the upside...
I'm finally recovered.
I walked around London a few weeks ago - spent 6 hours on my feet (boy did I ache afterwards) and I've got back from Alicante where I did a lot more walking and climbed a lot more stairs (boy did I really ache afterwards).
I just need to get a bit more strength and resilience into my atrophied limbs and I'll be looking for a job.
Big news for me anyway.

All she needs is a golf course..
Come to Canada -- to the Okanganan region in British Columbia, where wineries and golf abound!

Golfing?
I guess I could bond with the Father-in-Law this way.
Sanosuke, there's no shortage of wineries and golf courses in Spain.
Now there's a thought, I could combine a round of golf with another similarly exciting pursuit... sunbathing. I'd just need to borrow one of my brother's club sets and see how many rounds it takes before I put my back out enough to enjoy another relaxing year in bed.
I've no idea why crazy golf is called 'crazy', it's the only sane way to play. That or joining one of Tokyo's multitude of centrally located clubs for golfers, they always seem to have a nice bar at a civilised distance from the electronic pitching/putting area.
