it is a good hotel. breakfast is good. It is not really in ginza but close. it is also very easy to take the discounted bus from NRT that will drop you off literally in the front of the hotel for 1300Y in about the same time as the NEX after walking through tokyo station. That rate is also pretty good.

Is that discounted bus from NRT the one where you can pay cash upon boarding?

I strongly recommend "The blossom hibiya" hotel, it is close to public transportation, superior city view within the room, and one of the highest rated hotel in Tokyo, and is inexpensive if you can book ~6 months before your trip.

Bus is not reservable. https://tyo-nrt.com/en but there were 5 people getting on when we used it at 4pm.

Looking to book 5 nights at the beginning of November, cheapest I can find is USD200 per night, was hoping for cheaper. |
I stayed in the Park Hotel last October, Tokyo Tower side, everything great.
Paid ¥40000 for 2 nights. This year it's ¥45000 per night! |
Park hotel suffers from great reviews in TA and so rates have been jacked. I've stayed there many times but recent price checks have seen it really get up there. And compared to say the Mitsui Shiodome or Royal Park or Villa Fontaine, check around. Karaska in ginza has suffered the same fate.

Great views, and great location. 5? Metro lines within walking distance, and Shimbashi station close making it very accessible for trips from/to HND. |

I agree. I stayed there back in March, on a booking I made well in advanced (while Japan was closed) so it was really great qpr.

Was originally booking a single comfort room (151sqft) at the Tokyu Stay Shinjuku for 6 nights in September after the F1 race, however for the same price (£100pn) I can get a king size non smoking room (178sqft) at the B Ginza.

Why is November so expensive? |

Almost double that for when I'm there in November.

Possibly an event or conference.
