There are several city guidebooks for Kyoto, and at least one is sure to be available in the nearest large bookstore.
If not, the Japan National Tourist Office's website (jnto.go.jp) has a lot of information.
Read one of those, and come back when you have specific questions.
There's so much to see in the Kyoto area, and we don't know you or what you're interested in, so do a little of your own research first.
