Pulling hair out, Can't figure out where to input passport info

This is what the section looks like if not booked via JL. Even if it is JAL ticket via Expedia and not a codeshare. It is who owns the booking not what stock as to whether you can enter passport information.
Note the text to enter passport information remains which confuses people.

Hey all, OP here and wanted to update everyone. First thanks to all that replied.
So here is what I found out:
As venk replied in post #3, add passport info into AA website, this worked.
At T-24 on JL website the info from AA carried over at check in.
Alternatively
You can just input your passport info during check in.
