Would be nice if JAL is implementing different availability for partners

I have had this issue with BA too (as recently as right now) but you all know the JAL US site is back up and running with all features including award search...

Which routes do generally have better availability (NRT-LAX/ORD/JFK)? I need to go from CGK to any city in US, as i would need to connect from there to MEX (probably not a problem on the same award). In April.
Right now on ba.com the availability for First is zero. Even for the coming days it is close to zero on any routes...
What are your experiences with last-minute availability? Since this is a trip i MUST take in the first week of April, even though i am flexible with dates, i just wanted to know if it's worth waiting for space to open, or better search for other ways... Thx!

If you are willing to go J there is loads of availability, especially to DFW.

Are you using Avios to redeem your award? If so, please ask this on BA forum they can provide better guidance with their expertise. Thanks!

(Emphasis added.) Thank you for the reminder.

Remember, fellow members, you must first comply with the award redemption requirements of the airline providing the award miles. JL Mileage Bank award rules will not apply to partner airlines awards.

In the AA forum, information can be found in the wikipost of this thread:

Hey, is there a way to get my e-ticket from JAL, on a AA award ticket? I went through USA website and managed to select a seat, but when I try to see a e-ticket, it says not possible. Options?

Or cancel the ticket and book with JL if he wants the ticket from JL

I called AA to book. It's showing as 'on request'. Meanwhile ba.com is still showing availability. How does it work? If it takes 3-5 days for JL and AA to work it out, could I lose the seats, in the meantime, to someone using Avios or directly with JL?
