Just to kick start a wiki, with answers to frequent questions.
1. We're flying HND-NGO-HNL. NGO-HNL is booked in business class, but HND-NGO is in economy. Will we still get the baggage allowance as if we're flying business class the whole way?
A: Yes. written here (link)
2. We're flying HND-NGO-HNL. Will we have lounge access in HND?
A. Definitely, within the lounge access rules of course. written here (link)

Flew BA on 7/8 and no miles yet. Does BA usually take this long to post to JMB?

It seems to only come through once a week. But by now that should have cleared. I think it is Thursday, but am not sure.

It's up to 2 weeks if you miss the weekly cutoff

Gmail should understand. But not for over the phone bookings because those emails are password protected, at least that's what the US office does.

Thank you JALPak.

My reservation was made thru a travel agent.
I have e-ticket number and PNR. Can I send email from JAL website?

No, but an email from your travel agent should work.

Thank you again JALPak.

The travel agent just sent password locked PDF as the e-ticket.
I put my flight to google calendar by myself!

Unable to enroll in JAL Mileage Bank

I've been trying to create online JAL MB account but every time I submit the information I am getting an error message "Please enter "City (HOME)" in the correct format within 30 alphanumeric characters." I do have City field populated but it keeps generating an error message. Tried with different browsers but the same outcome. Has anyone run into this problem and how did you get around it?

Maybe it's JAL's subtle way to tell you to stick with AA

What's your home city anyway? Did you enter some special characters?

You are right. I was thinking to transfer SPG points for award booking on BA, but since they do not want me then I would just use CX Miles instead.

Two questions:

Is there a way to book an AA redemption for a JAL Y seat and have a cash JAL Y seat on the same PNR/flight?

Would I be able to pay to upgrade both seats to PE at the airport (if available) or are redemption tickets not able to be upgraded?

Thanks.

Normally no. That would give two PNRs.

Yes, you can pay to upgrade to PY for both.

What are you trying to achieve here by having them on a single PNR? You can just ask JL to link the records if you only want them to be aware of that you 2 are traveling together.
