Does anyone know which category of room I would get as an Ambassador booking a Club room?

Surely Amb gets 1 level upgrade, therefore what ever is above club room in that list.

No,you need to book a club room. I asked the hotel.

If you dont book Club, you wont get access to the Club. Amb members get a better price on the club fee if they are not in a club room. (got this information from the hotel directly)

I thought Basil was only asking what he would get if he booked a clubroom, and 1 level is probably most likely

Exactly. Can't comprehend why multiple posters didn't understand the question.

Recently stayed there as Amb gold. Booked club room and they said I was upgraded to a better type of club room. It was fine, nothing special tho.

Last November 2013, booked Club Room using BOGO,
Was upgraded to Junior Suite with partial Eiffel view
Welcome gift: Champagne, Confetti, Sparkling Water
But there are many category of rooms, so i think what you have to do is ask hotel manager nicely before arrival

We like the rooftop rooms

Very Romantic! also close to the rooftop club lounge

Main rooms have very high ceilings and we found quite bare

Nice hotel but have never found a cheap place to drink in paris so we wont rush back. A good way to spend points none the less.

Well yeah, but that's the PHV - exactly what I'd expect.

OK, but there is no shortage of nice sophisticated bars where you can get a beer for much less. One of the best bars in the world, Harry's Bar, is just a few minutes walk from Le Grand.

Thanks. Yes, I have booked a Club room and was just wondering what to expect in terms of an Ambassador upgrade.
