How can you call it fair to pick Arikok NP being the correct answer?

For clarification...during week 1 (before I had the luck of findinghtis forum) if you Googled the three geologic rock compostions as one string, a Google search came back with the fact that these three types of rock are specifically found inside of Arikok National Park, no where else on Aruba are all three formations together. Additionally the park was specifically mentioned as being home to the two endemic birds; ergo, it is the correct answer.
And as far as fair goes, again (as others have pointed out)it is a game in which we are receiving free reward points for doing a little research and expanding our horizons about the world in which we live - and I'm not being snarky. Enjoy it instead of complaining. Be Happy Let's focus on the current challenge at hand.
Enough piling on sad Happy. It's completely understandable when you play any game, regardless of the stakes, to be a little disappointed if an answer very much looks incorrect.

I'd love to resist traveling back to Aruba, but ergo got me.

For further clarification, the rock formations are NOT exclusive to the park.

Aruba's official tourism site: "Arikok National Park is a nature preserve covering almost one-fifth of Aruba's surface area, contains historical sites as (sic) Aruba's three geological formations: the Aruba lava formation, quartz diorite formation, and limestone formation that extends inward from the coast."

"no where else on Aruba are all three formations together"... except on Aruba, of course.

Well, Pulau Tiga isn't home to many indiginous groups, seeing as it's pretty much uninhabited. And while the picture now appears pretty clearly to be of a particular resort on Mabul Island, the indiginous population of Mabul Island is tiny.

I really don't think either Pulau Tiga or Mabul Island is a necessary part of the answer. Both are too specific. Have there been multiple reality shows on Mabul Island?

Since the picture is so obviously a picture of a resort on Mabul Island, I'll probably put something with the words Mabul Island as my answer today, but I'm not too worried about my answer from yesterday: Sabah, Malaysia, Island of Borneo.

Agreed with your first 2 paragraphs ... however, IMHO your yesterday's entery as stated above (or as OP Motors stated: Some combination of: Sabah, Borneo, Malaysia) is correct

Mabul is a small island off the south-eastern coast of Sabah in Malaysia. There are 2 main villages on the island i.e. "Kampung Mabul" and "Kampung Musu".
I entered Pulau Tiga National Park, Sabah, Borneo, Malaysia ... so I don't think I'll be getting those 1500 PC points.

This suggests that the word clues are the most important element of the quiz. The images are just supporting prompts. We need to take more store of the words.

Googling "home of many indigenous groups" does bring up Sabah and Sarawek.

The information about Sabah from their Tourism Board Website says it all.....Week 4's mystery location is most certainly Sabah, Borneo, Malaysia, according to the given clues.
http://www.sabahtourism.com/sabah-ma...n/about-sabah/

This was taken from Wikipidea after googling Sabah....

Some films and TV shows filmed in Sabah include the reality show Survivor: Borneo, The Amazing Race, Eco-Challenge Borneo, films Bat*21, as well as a number of Hong Kong production films such as Born Rich. Sabah was also featured in Sacred Planet, a documentary hosted by Robert Redford.

Complete set of pictures and map

I have added the day 3 picture to the light box
http://www.shutterstock.com/public_l...7d0a62af9e57bd

I think we now have the sources for all th elements that comprise the image
Does any one have any other candidate images?

A google map showing the spread of the clue locations
http://maps.google.co.uk/maps/ms?ie=...669c36a0f6&z=8

None of today's clues have done anything to help further narrow down the location that they are looking for and following tradition Friday will probably only identify the continent

I found this on google under Malaysia.

Sabah is characterized by ethnic pluralism, with more than 30 different indigenous groups, including Kadazan, Dusun, Rungus, Murut, Sungai and Lundayeh. They speak more than 50 languages and 80 dialects.
