Cheap o air

I know, I know, but my granddaughter did not. She purchased tickets for her and her boyfriend rt mci/lga for end of august. Of course with everything going on, and my age and vulnerability she wanted to cancel or have a voucher with no definitive date. Unfortunately the best she could do was get a voucher that expires in March 2021, . Things are not looking good. I tried getting info on line and found the umbrella name Voyager which she called . Does anyone have any idea who else she can appeal to or how else to handle this. Thanks for any ideas.

Cheap O Air is an online travel agent. What airline has she booked with, and what's that airline's cancellation policy? It might be you find the restrictive policy emanates from there.

MCI - LGA direct flight is most likely Delta. You can check here for the current policy.

If it's a DL ticket for DL flights, DL is likely to be very nice if she calls and asks nicely, although there might be a fee of about $50 for DL to take over two OLTA tickets.

Based on the lengthy threads about CoA on TripAdvisor, I would be very worried about being able to make changes easily or cheaply once you have booked with them. I do not recall ever seeing an airline able or willing to make changes directly with the passengers. Credit Card chargeback recommendations are rampant in those threads. To be fair, though, CoA is only one of dozens of bad online agencies.

Her flights were with United. I did contact United but have not heard anything yet. Thank you all for your help. I'll keep working on it

We have a long-running thread on CheapOair in the On Line Travel Booking forum:
CheapOair.com refused to give me refund after canceling my tickets

You'll also find multiple other CheapOair threads in that forum, too, that you might want to look through.

I'd avoid calling unknown third parties. It's not clear, to me at least, what Voyager is and there have been scammers pretending to be airline customer service phone numbers that charge huge fees to cancel plane tickets.
