speeding fine WA
I have just received a speeding fine via my travel company for a speeding fine dated 24/11/15 whilst driving in WA on holiday. It is $482.35!!! could I apply by 'E' mail for leaniency due to length of time it has taken to reach me, therefore accumulating cost?

If anyone here knows anything about laws relating to Washington speeding tickets, it would be a random coincidence. Where are you from, and what is WA (Washington, Western Australia, Wales, Wallonia)?
What might be the consequence of you just ignoring it?

If you are talking about Washington State, you'll need to request either a contested hearing
(to plead "not guilty" and fight your traffic ticket) or a mitigation hearing (to request that your fine be reduced). I don't think you can do either of these options except in person.
Take a look at the ticket for instructions on how to contact the appropriate traffic court directly; they can advise you.

It's unlikely you would get a ticket for speeding unless you were pulled over by a police officer, at least in the United States. I haven't heard of any camera based speeding tickets. Perhaps someone from Washington can confirm that is the case there.
Is this a ticket from the state or county, or a bill from the rental car company? The rental car company may well try to screw you over with their own usurious "fees."

OP - Before this goes off the rails with speculation about "what might be if ...." why not provide some detail. The more detail, the better the advice.
It would be horrible to learn how to obtain clemency for a speeding ticket in WA(les) when you meant WA(shington).
