Di Collins' "WA" is certainly Western Australia because the friendly cops in the USA prefer to deliver speeding tickets in person

Regardless of whether we hear back from this one-post wonder, his story is instructive. Australia and New Zealand have automated radar and license plate photo capabilities that can catch speeders in rental cars red-handed.

The authorities send the ticket to the rental car company. Rental car company pays and back-charges their customer's credit card. Customer is SOL. The only solution is to not speed in the first place.
