Long long long time lurker, finally signed up.

I'm an software engineer and I work on Air Traffic Control software. I discovered traveling back in 2007 with a cruise - and now I've been all over the world.

Hey there. I travel a bit for work, and I've got a couple buddies who are significantly involved in the travel/travel-hacking game. My work travel keeps me permanently in Gold on AA due to segments, not mileage. Based out of DFW, flying to other parts of Texas and Kansas, mostly. Late last year, one of my buddies got me on a segment run to get me to Plat. I got a HKG deal in February, and got into the AA DCA-PEK fare, taking it next month. I should have Plat in 2016 with those, but I can't see how I'd hit EXP.

Primarily Marriott, but could be IHG soon. AmEx Plat holder.

I'm hoping to learn how to do the best I can with learning from my buddies, and you guys, but married with a kid, I don't get the opportunities to pick up and go as much as most.

Also, first time to mainland China. Any tips would be welcomed. I haven't booked lodging or got my visa yet.

I've been a short-term 'lurker' and now new joiner.

Want to express my gratitude for all the great info on these threads, and how much time you all dedicate to this fantastic hobby lifestyle choice of ours.

I travel a lot between Chicago and San Francisco, and sometimes to the East Coast, and as much between The States and Europe, and less frequently to Asia and Elsewhere.

Right now my main question is what kind of systems you all have for keeping track of miles-points and credit-charge cards. Everyone always talks about AwardWallet, but I have not found its layout particularly satisfying. Also, I'm particularly interested in systems you have developed for keeping track of minimum spending, etc, to fulfill signup bonus offers.

Hello everyone - I was active here about 10 years ago. Haven't been traveling much for the past few years but I hope to start up again. My question is about premium fares. I've searched the Premium Fares thread and it's all over the place. Is there a forum or thread that lists premium fare deals from specific cities or airports? I want to be able to jump on premium fare deals from WAS - IAD, DCA and BWI are all fine for me. I can even go out of Richmond, but I need one forum where I can find those! Thanks
