Haha, it's nice to be back... after 10 years. Didn't remember my password and had no access to the old email address. Would you believe I had to boot an old Windows 2K machine with Palm Desktop to pull my old login info? Now if I could only find that Palm device, I could sync it. :)

Good morning!

I have been a long time lurker (I typically am a listener not a talker) and just kept thinking I was probably missing out on a lot of posts and info by not joining.

This obsessive hobby can be frustrating and entertaining. Hopefully I will be able to contribute and begin to pay back all the benefits I have gained from the knowledge here.

Something about me: I use the posts like a quiz, when a question is asked I answer (in my head) before reading the responses, just to see if I could have had the correct answers.

One thing I will comment on is that: 1. Yes sometimes people post questions that they could have found elsewhere but also 2. Too often the 'Elders' response is overly harsh.

So, its time for me join the community, join in the fun, do a few DOs :D and share some useful info!

Lurking for years before signing up, but finally feel like I know enough (about some things) to start giving back. My goal is to finally start figuring out the Trickit thread; while I understand the concept in a general sense, I haven't made it work. Till then I look forward to sharing what i can. I'm based in LON at the moment, sometimes in BOS. Visited 40 countries in the past 5 years, probably won't do that for the next five, but there's always dreaming!
