Things to do in BLR...when you have been before

Upcoming trip to BLR will include some free time. I've been multiple times so have done many of the main tourist things:
  • Mysore + Palace
  • Bangalore Palace
  • HAL Museum (my favourite)
  • Cubbon Park and Museums
  • Lalbagh Gardens
  • Various Temples
  • Tipu Sultan's Summer Palace
What have I missed that I should do? On my last trip to Mysore I wanted to have the driver stop at Srirangapatna but he said it wasn't worth it. I'm still a bit curious about going there, but it's a long drive so if it isn't that good, then I should probably do something else.

I'm there for a weekend. I'd prefer local or day-trip type activities as I also have some evening commitments in the city.

Here is what one can do to experience the best of Bengaluru and nearby areas for a day.

Morning Choices - Visit Nandi hills, Eat breakfast at Brahmins cafe, leave for Melukote and have breakfast at Bidadi - famous for "Tatte Idli"s
AfterNoon Choices - Visit Melukote visit temples and have Puliyogare (Famous flavored rice) for lunch, visit Somanthapura and enjoy the Hoysala architecture.
Evening Choices - Visit GaganaChukki, BharaChukki falls at Shivanasamudra, Have a boat ride at Sankey Tank at Malleshwaram or Madiwala lake near BTM Layout.
Night Choices - Visit one of the many Pubs near Indiranagar, Koramangala, and Brigade road or Visit chat street in V V Puram and enjoy the best street food of Bangalore
