Jet Airways First Class - recent experiences
Has anyone flown the Jet Airways 115 from LHR to BOM in First recently? What is the quality of service, food and alcohol they serve?
I flew Jet from JFK to BOM in Business and at that time both the service and the food was really good. But I am talking at least 7-8 years back.

No DP anymore. Replaced by a cheaper champagne.
But I still fly it and have another one booked in 2 months as to me the hard product is better then any other that flies me non stop to DEL.

I flew it to DEL a few months back. Not impressed really. Gone down drastically. Only the hard product is good, the soft is basically business only. Food wise I was only given choice of two mains. I have seen more choice in Emirates Economy.

As for just 2 food choices...wow... didn't they offer the printed F food menu?
And any change in amenities like pajamas, washbags etc as well?

Yikes! That doesn't sound good. I have DEL-YYZ-DEL and DEL-LHR-DEL trips in the 9W 777 F cabin in the next few months. Was quite looking forward to them - till I read this!

I would have to agree with some of the comments here -
Over multiple F flights this year, the hard product is great; the alcohol is similar to what most airlines serve in F; the food and service isn't quite F. Overall, they get a good chunk of my business because of direct flights, a great hard product and good availability of points upgrades from J to F.
I've always had the choice of atleast 3 mains, one of which is vegetarian. This is true even for flights as recent as 20 days back. Having said that, the cheese platter, deserts, etc leave a lot to be desired.
All my F flights have been to and from BOM.

Food wise, I was never too fussed with looks on a flight to India. A good tasting curry always looks a mess despite the best efforts of the crew/airline to jazz it up.

I flew Jet F in Jan and I was pretty impressed by the hard product although it needs a bit of a touch-up. The champagne was Bollinger La Grande Annee which was served generously, there were printed F menus with some delicious Indian food & a separate tea menu.
The food was probably at Qatar business level. The service was great including buggy pickups and dropoffs, however, a lot of people requested feedback.
