Question is, how much YQ??
Definitely not on par with UA saver awards, please note that the miles are for OW and not RT.

I called up Airline for a booking from DEL - NYC for Feb 11th, I was quoted 80K miles for OW + 26K in Taxes :S

Ticket is priced around 35k. Revenue ticket sounds much better.

I'd call again and ask the agent why the 26k taxes came about if they have officially removed YQ from Int'l sectors on AI metal. Maybe even escalate to a supervisor.

ITA shows you should have to pay only around 6k in taxes.

Oh that'd be a dream come true. But I'm really not sure if they've got competent staff which has undergone training to price awards in a region-based chart.
They have been brainwashed to price each sector individually since the beginning of time.

as customer unfriendly as they are, i would have still expected them to give some advance notice before the changes were made....i guess that was wishful thinking....

I have split out the FFP changes discussion into this new thread as I felt it was an important enough to have a separate discussion on this, away from all the website and OTP issues.

Thanks,

Agreed! I am so irritated that I transferred another 100k miles to AI FR from my Citi Prestige card just a month ago.

Arrrgh. You (or anyone) know how long they plan to take for verification after the scanned docs are submitted?

And here I was thinking I would have added to my AI account balances. Don't see any point in doing that anymore, except in the chance situations that a flight earns miles in AI's program but not some other program with better customer service and mileage ticket pricing.

i haven't received any email about submitting the kyc documents....does anyone know what & where i need to submit????
