1) AI would price it as 2 different segments, BLR-FRA and FRA-LAX.
2) They impose fuel surcharges.

Hi,
I am planning to book Hyderabad to Singapore for 27 April 2016. When I called Air India, they said they have availability from Hyd-Del-Singapore and the miles required are 45,000/- (10,000+35,000) and ~2600/- for taxes. I asked him if I can get Hyd-Singapore direct on Singapore airline, he said he cant find award seats on any random dates.
My question is Do Singapore Airline have Awards seats for Hyd-Singapore sector (economy) ? What are the miles and tax requirements ?
Which is better, booking on AI or Singapore Airline ?
Thanks a lot.

Its subsidiary, SilkAir operates this route non-stop. SilkAir is not a part of Star Alliance and hence you won't be able to redeem your AI miles for this flight.
Edit: You should be charged only 35000 miles for HYD-DEL-SIN redemption on Air India. You can book it online too.

Singapore Airlines does not operate HYD-SIN on its own aircraft.
