From the FAQ section:

Who’s eligible for the JetPrivilege HDFC Bank World Debit Card?
  • Individual Account-holders (Savings Account/Corporate Salary Accounts/Sole Proprietors)
  • Current Accountholders

If you have a NRO / NRE Savings A/c, you should be good to go. Additionally, like A2A pointed above, its FoC for Imperia and Preferred customers.

Are you gonna pick it up?
Anyone applied for add-on card as well ? The website says 1000 bucks for an additional card but no benefits for the add-on holder.

I applied for an add-on card at the time of signing up, but HDFC never bothered to send me that card.

Same with Axis Bank with their new M&M cc!

It seems that HDFC is not willing to waive off the annual charges for JP Platinum members.

I was issued the DC a couple of months back, but they charged the annual fees only towards the end of last month. Subsequently to the holidays, I complained with the CS on phone and this morning received a call from my branch enlightning me about a new policy. This is what I was told on the call (with a heavy South-Indian accent):

Sir, for the JP Platinum members, there will be an annual charge, BUT ALL THE BENEFITS WILL REMAIN FREE.

I argued that the T&C's state that the DC would be free for JP Plats and when i viewed the HDFC website, so as to pass the link to the HDFC chap, to my utter surprise, HDFC website now has no mention of the fee waiver for the Platinum members. I quickly switched to the JP Partners page, where thankfully, it still states that "JetPrivilege Platinum members can avail of this card at no annual fees until they maintain their JetPrivilege Platinum tier"

I guess, I would need to visit the branch and speak to the same guy with VIRAT KOHLI style / accent that goes something like:
M@#$(#$%.. B*&%#@.. M@#$(#$%.. B*&%#@...!!

A2A any clue about whats hapenning here..?

Any other JP Platinum members facing similar issues..?

JetCS can't even handle Jet's queries, forget getting them solve HDFC issues.

The JP team picked up my post here in this thread and sent me an email stating that they would take up this issue with HDFC. I can gladly confirm that they resolved the issue promptly..!

^ Kudos to the JP Team.

PS: Wonder why the JP / JetAirways team hasn't signed-up for a 'verified A/c' with FT?
