The return of JET KONNECT

So effective March 1 a lot of domestic flights are reverting back to Jet Konnect - from what I can see key routes affected include MAA-DEL
BOM-CCU (evening deps), BOM-BLR and BOM MAA (SOME FLIGHTS)... there are others....

now that i've shared this sad news - I must share my irritation...
9W is seriously messing with its customer base, toying with us with varying products - they need to get their act together and decide where they want to sit - either on top of the pyramid or in the middle... At least Indigo has always had a clear picture and direction...

This is not good for brand loyalty, product consistency etc etc... so much for all the noise about gourmet dining on domestic flights...

On board you get an economy class meal and the choice of one beverage from the sales cart, service is absent for most of the flight.

In y - food for sale

I will be flying Jet from HYD to EWR for the first time in July. My first leg is on Konnect flight, so I should not expect much on it!!!

Hmmm ... it is probably 1hr+ from HYD-BOM, before you connect to the EWR flight. I wouldn't lose sleep fretting over service on this leg

It's bad. MAA-DEL is one of the longest Metro route and given a opportunity to experience the product.

So is the same aircrafts are being used only with different soft product or the Aircrafts are different as well?

Off late they've been operating some flights with 8 biz seats but full service products. The legroom is only not as good (I believe there is a 3-4inch differential).

On MAA-DEL with an EFT of 2:30 plus atc issues you effectively spend 3 to 3hrs 15 on an aircraft. This is where IT wins in the premium cabin - 9W's proffessionalism doesn't mask a poor product.

Just spoke to some 9W regional execs who were clueless about the change - it appears that this is seasonal from April 15th the flights going 9wK return to full service.
Guess 9W will feed you seasonally....

In Dec, two of my DEL-BLR flights were changed by 9w schedulers from mainline to Konnect. And even though I had paid for "mainline" Premiere, I was rebooked in Konnect Select without any refund or reduction in fare! Only option was to move to a departure 12 hours earlier, that was still offering Premiere.
