my first post from my new ipad....:D:D

i resisted the urge to buy one for so long since i wanted to get the second gen that should be out sometime towards the end of q1 2011....but my wife gave me a slightly early anniversary gift today....

now that i have it, i don't know why i had been holding out for so long....:p

I am quite eager to buy one too but need the camera for skype calls. Going to wait it out.

will probably end up getting the new one next year as well....

I think that there are a lot of things for them to modify - this is why I won't get one.

I was surprised at how small the screen was - would prefer a slightly larger screen and a much smaller frame around the screen...

i agree....flash, usb slot & camera are the 3 things that come to mind immediately....

How is the battery?

pretty good....i was up playing with it all night (my wife was not happy) & i only used up a little over 20%....

I would have bought one by now but the lack of a usb drive and the amount of storage space it offers has kept me away.

not having flash is what bugs me the most....

earlier this week my firm announced that all partners will be getting the new blackberry playbook in january....now that is something i am really looking forward to....

I haven't heard about that yet. Whats good in it?

the playbook is supposed to have everything the ipad doesn't, like the flash player & usb ports & camera, etc....

Looks quite interesting. Although I am a fan of the Apple interface on the iPad. Lets see how this BB product is as their last touch screen had nothing on Apple.
