My parents got married in 1968 and for their honeymoon flew BOM to Beirut and then on to Rome, Paris, London and ended in New York. They did side trips in Europe by train but that was their air routing. Btw they loved Beirut and had several friends form Bombay living there who worked at the American University. My mom felt it was a more modern Bombay and the people reminded her a lot of Bombay.

8 hr transit in Taipei, Indian citizen with US Permanent Residency
Hi,
Wondering if anyone knows if we allowed to go out of the airport for a quick visit if we are Indian citizens with US PR and having a long layover in Taipei?
Many years back I recall having a,link for timatic which I got thru this forum but not able to get that working now.
Any links to check this out since am thinking whether I should take the long layover in Singapore or Taipei (prefer Taipei as have never visited earlier).
Thank you

According to Wikipedia, you can apply for online travel certificate if you have US PR and Indian citizen. They are valid for 14 days. Perhaps your can try it and see what happens.
