- Login problems: If you have trouble logging into the Iberia website, type in your number and password by hand instead of using autocomplete. For some people this fixes login issues.
- Partner awards: Many flights on partners will not be available as one-way. You must redeem AA flights as a round trip for example
- Cancellations: Iberia awards on AA cannot be cancelled.

Presumably booked individually and with enough time in between to cover for mis-connects. I can easily see IB being quite strict about not protecting people on separate tickets.

Does anyone have a solution to the name problem? I've tried using various web browsers, re-checked my details in my IB+ account which is over a year old:
Please check your Iberia Plus number xxxxxxxx because it does not match the name and family name on the booking. If you are an On Business member, the name must the same as the one you have with Iberia Plus. Change it with On Business before booking your flight.

I managed to book 2 tickets. I'm in Malaysia at the moment, but my account is listed as in the UK. I used a VPN and the site directed me to the US website. I booked a back to back ticket. But what are the ramifications if I don't actually fly?
Wondering if I should buy more tickets...

Does anyone know for sure if you can transfer Iberia Avios to British Airways Executive Avios if you have a Household account? I am thinking NOT. Then, do I need to undo the Household
account and then will it work?

You can't transfer them into a BA Avios household account. You can transfer to an Avios, Vueling or Aer Lingus and then move to a BA Household account

Had an IB account since I did a status match from AB.
But will not risk creating new account for gf based on what I've read throughout this thread.

Looked at all sorts of permutations and dates but then thought:
- it’s a lot of hassle
- lots of single one way flights means more chance of schedule changes and issues
So luckily as IB are booking up to Jun 19 I was going to IBZ anyway for 3 nights so booked LHR-IBZ-MAD-LHR and in effect me and Mrs Our_Kid got paid £189.21 to go on a holiday we were going on anyway

Try entering IB number again
As of late last night, got the same error message as everyone else with a new account when trying to input IB number. Tried this morning and all PNRs accepted the number. I started the new account yesterday at approx 5p ET, so still well under 24 hours. It may be that they do daily updates to their system, but in any case mine was enabled within the past 6 hours.

Another interesting fact - i asked her to then cancel my bookings from the app and that I would try to book via the website. given i booked less than 24 hours ago i expected a full refund - SHE SAID ALL APP BOOKINGS ARE MADE IN SPAIN AND DOT REGULATIONS OF 24 HOUR REFUNDS DONT APPLY. What bull crap is that - i told her to provide me proof via email saying this and she said call center can't send emails. I will wait to see if avios post and if they don't i will escalate to DOT and my credit card issuer

Called Iberia - got through their customer service desk after 30 mins of holding. They say that avios will only be honored if you made the booking on the website using the specific link. they had no answer when i said my app tickets are issued by iberia.com as well - agent said she will escalate all ten tickets to get an answer on whether or not i will get the promo avios

I'm sitting this one out. Firstly, there seems to be too much potential for goal posts to be moved.
Secondly I'm not even sure whether I can actually use the promotional Avios (travel fully booked for this winter season, then working until mid-October next year). If they didn't have to be used by December, I would probably take a gamble.
All in all, too many variables for me. But good luck to everyone who has taken a punt - I hope it works out.
