- Login problems: If you have trouble logging into the Iberia website, type in your number and password by hand instead of using autocomplete. For some people this fixes login issues.
- Partner awards: Many flights on partners will not be available as one-way. You must redeem AA flights as a round trip for example
- Cancellations: Iberia awards on AA cannot be cancelled.

Here's a work around for the lock-out.
- If you have not already done so, download the Iberia app
- Use the option Have you forgotten your PIN from the app (from the app, not from the web)
- You will receive a new pin by email.
I wonder if on their end having an unlocked account = "verified" account.

Strong recommendation at this point is that should you have any pre promo avios you might want to use outside Iberia, you transfer them out now. A perfectly predictable next step is to prohibit ANY external transfers so availability can be used to throttle usage when the promo is honoured.

TBH - IT wise, I can't see how the avios earned in this promotion can be ringfenced - either all the avios in the account are free to use (with consequences if you transfer), or held in the account as suggested until after December 1.
I'm not sure there would have been all this discussion around negative balances if they were intending this, but of course it could be done if they are now working out the IT now they realise the monster they've created!

Not just for me then. I've had no problems logging in though, account is a few years old. Contrary to others I even transferred some Avios into Iberia. Let's see if they get stuck there (I suspect not).

This article says nothing definite. it refers to a person with Thailand address, purchasing a ticket on a U.S. site and should not affect any U.S. addresses.
On Iberia twitter today - they replied to someone with: "Hi Maria. Please wait until tomorrow and contact us if you do not receive the Avios"

if it is true, it is very disappointing that IB changing the T&C after customer buy the tickers. I think IB should provide a method to refund the tickets without any charges.

I created my account for the purpose of this promotion.
Yesterday (2nd July) I was unable to login to the system with the errors reported above.
This morning (3rd July) I attempted to reset the password using the app, but was given error "PIN reset but unable to send email". Thereafter I went to the website and did the PIN reset with the secret question & surname. This was successfully done and I was able to login to my account.
There were no bonus points credited.
I created my account for the purpose of this promotion.
Yesterday (2nd July) I was unable to login to the system with the errors reported above.
