ok now i'm starting to get annoyed

I have been holding off booking June/july travel in hopes that something good would come out by HY but so far.. 2X stay credit which is ok.. but I'm looking for something good.. I'm ready to just book my way into SPG and forget about it.. if they don't do something soon :mad:

I am also getting tired of waiting for the announcement. They shouldn't have said anything back in April if they didn't have it all thought out at the time. I will probably stay in Hyatts anyway since they are my preferred chain and I am (almost) always treated very well as a diamond but they have lost a bit of appeal to me with this little "June promo" game they are playing. To make it worse diamond desk has been telling me that something will happen but they still don't know any details. Go figure.

regarding the 20 days.. well thats all fine and dandy but I need to book for the last two weeks of June and the first two weeks of July

I've done my research as to where I'm going to most likely stay but I rather than book then have to change things based on new promo info.. i thought I'd wait. Well Hyatt, if you are reading, you are about to possibly lose my business by your ho hum attitude here.. time is ticking and I'm leaning heavily to SPG right now with nothing else to pull me your way

I understand but what's the big deal with changing reservations later? Double book everything and just cancel the one you decide is worth less a few days before the stay. I've done it numerous times and never had any problems (thanks to electronic calendar reminding me to cancel before the penalties kick in :D). Of course, if you are deciding where to go (as in what city/state/country) based on the promos then just make up your mind and book with SPG.

How long did it take to reflect in your online profile?

I emailed them on Monday and it did not show up till this afternoon. I am now already Diamond for 2010 :p

I can do that, but its a Royal PITA. If the new promo is worth it.. fine I'll do it but now, its no longer on equal footing.. SPG wins unless Hyatt beats them.. while before I may have in a worst case scenario (depending on the promo) alternated between SPG/HY but now..nope.. they are playing a stupid game with us and I've had enough
