Is it possible for 2 persons to pool FFNS?
I think I read somewhere that GP pts can be pooled together to claim a reward.
Regarding FFNs, I understand that for weekdays, one needs to reserve 3 consecutive days. Is it possible for me to reserve 2 nights on FFN and for a 3rd night to be reserved by my brother with whom I am travelling together?
Thanks.

I believe so.
I did this with my husband. I had a couple of FFN and he had 1. I made 2 individual reservations and customer service joined them together.

But my question was whether different persons can pool to book *ONE* award
Thanks Mary.
But my question was whether 2 persons can pool their accumulated MC stays in order to book *ONE* 3-night consecutive stay.
The reason is that for weekday stays, there is a 3-night minimum.
So it is *ONE* award that is booked, not several that are linked together.
Thanks.

The 3 day minimum should apply only to points reservations, not FFN. I have booked many stand alone FFN reservations.

I would suggest you ask GP, can't hurt. Since you and your brother are travelling together, it shouldn't matter that you two would have to pool your FFNs to create a 3 consecutive weekday award stay. It's not
like only 1 of you is going to be travelling.
Sorry couldn't be of more assistance.

Again, no need. I think you just got a confused agent. The three night minimum should not be applied to FFN stays - only point stays. If they are applying it to FFN, this is new. I have redeemed, in prior FFN periods, numerous (maybe 10-15) one or two night weekday stays. FFN was always treated differently than points on this rule.

But the FFN Terms and Conditions say:
***A minimum of a three-night award stay is required for Faster Free Nights Award(s) redemption in non-resort hotels during mid-week (i.e., Monday through Thursday). One or two-night stays at non-resort hotels are available on weekends only. A weekend is generally defined as Friday through Sunday, but may vary to conform to local custom and practice in certain countries.
So is it possible to just book one night during the week?

I don't think it really matters.
Call diamond reservations and explainthe situation. I'm sure they can do a work around. They've done some pretty amazing stuff for me.

I believe the answer to your first question is no per se. That is not to say the two of you could not get back to back awards and ask at the hotel to keep the same room.
The 3-night rule has been enforced in the past, but is usually waived on weekends, resort properties, or if you don't have three nights. (Odd as it seems, Hyatt has been tighter on us during the week at city hotels).

Now whether they enforce this policy or not is a different story. I do know that you CANNOT book a 1 or 2 night FFN stay at a city hotel thru hyatt.com. It will give an error message saying against the rules.
