Uncommon and not a typical benefit unless they’re offering it as part of a promotion like the Park Hyatt Beaver Creek currently is.

Good to know, I wish properties like HR Orange County would offer complimentary park either through Prive’ or as a Globalist Benefit. They’re not very busy right now and $30 a day to park there is terrible. It’s not a resort property or very special by any means. Especially because there are other Hyatt properties nearby (10 mins away) that don’t charge for parking.

Anyways I was just wondering that because I did see the PH Beaver Creek offer with Free Parking.

Some hotels strictly limit the rooms for the new 3rd night free Prive promotion.
We saw that hotels only have one room per category or 5-10 rooms per day from their whole inventory.
It pays to book quickly - the rates are flexible.
Let's see if more contingents follow here because the promo runs until the end of September

Haha, yes indeed. Sorry, I wasn't clear. I meant to say for a Globalist, this would be a pretty good deal since they'll have lounge access.

I have been booking the 3rd night free offer dozens of times a day and have not seen any limits on room category or availability through the offer. If the rate isn’t showing or inventory isn’t showing available, it’s likely because the hotel didn’t load the rates correctly and we’ve been working with the corporate team at Privé on a nearly daily basis to get those corrected.

I would definitely be booking more, but the future still does have uncertainty due to the current climate. Just a couple days ago Andaz Papagayo (one of the hotels listed for the 3rd night free offer) announced they’ll now be closed through November. It’s definitely a pain when something like that happens because you’d have to cancel with your airline, rental car agency and make new plans. Vice versa if something happened where you had to cancel I’d feel bad for the Prive’ agent if I had to cancel. I’d love to make plans with 50/50 certainty, but in the event I have to cancel, even though I can, it just feels bad since the agent went through the trouble of making the Prive’ reservation.

Completely get the uncertainty elements that still exist. And while I can’t speak for other agents, I definitely don’t mind making reservations knowing they might be canceled. It just feels good actually doing something again after 10 weeks of almost nothing.

Oh yeah, I hear you there. For a while it must have been dead. Then with everything reopening and running this great promo at the same time it’s starting off again really well. Rates for the most part are on the lower end. Though I’ve seen Standard rates change about a week after you first posted about this offer. A standard rate I was eyeing at $209 with the 3rd night free is now $269/night. That’s why it’s good to book ahead, definitely will keep that in mind going forward.

Just a heads up on the third night free offer - and we tried to convey this when we posted the terms, but this offer is not cumulative. And Hyatt is actively enforcing that.

We had someone make a third night free offer with us, then they made another reservation for the next three nights using the offer with another advisor, and the hotel sales manager and the Hyatt Privé corporate team both reached out to let us know the second reservation would not be honored with a third night free.

Just thought I would pass that experience on.

Thanks for the heads up! Yeah, better not to try and have it not honored. If they want to go that route they should do a 1 night stay at another (preferably cheaper) property in between.

Do you really want to change hotels twice for a seven night stay?

Depends on the person and the location. During the last Hyatt Journeys promo, where if you were a WOH CC Holder you’d get 1,500 point bonus for staying a weekend night, some people reported staying at 2-3 different Hyatt properties over the same weekend.

Plus if it’s your first stay in the upcoming Hyatt Journeys Offer it’d definitely make sense.

Or... and I'm just spit balling here, people could just, you know, honor the terms and conditions (and the spirit) of what seems to be a reasonably generous offer. Is that also an option?

Crazy... I know...

I agree it’s a good offer. Most hotels running this promo are also running similar non Prive’ promotions.

For example - Andaz Papagayo is running a 4th Night Free Offer through March 2021 where consecutive nights count. So an 8 night stay would yield 2 Free Nights.

Manchester Grand Hyatt is running a 25% off promo for stays of 2 nights or more. Meaning at 4 nights the 25% off becomes a better offer.

A lot of times the Standard Rate and Member or AAA rate have a large gap so it’s always good to check all available rates. In the case of the 6 nights stay posted above it may be a better deal to go with the Member or AAA rate.

I personally wouldn’t split my stay up and do that mostly due to inconvenience. I was just saying that’s what a lot of people reported doing during the last promotion. Also, probably best to stick with 1 Hyatt Prive’ agent rather than two.
