Thanks - not sure I can make it to AC easily ... anyone have experience with other MGM locations matching to Caesars/TR?

Pro Tip on making the Hyatt website faster

Open an incognito window and sign in from there. I don't know ... they are doing normally but I see about a 5-10x speedup with the site when doing this. I just discovered this today...

Does anyone know why some corporate Hyatt rates charge a lot more for second adult?
Heres an example:
Member Rate: 154.00
Corporate Rate 1 adult: 140.00
Corporate Rate with second adult: 164.00

Also are Globalists entitled to second adult fee waved?
Thanks for your help :-)

That has to be either something in the corporate contract or some places do charge more based off of occupancy. Unlikely to be waived if either but to be honest I've always booked via 1 adult and had no issues. Some hotels could be picky and noticed if those additional people are there at checkin though. International hotels out of country are pickier due to the need of passport tracking.

Would there be an issue if I have two overlapping reservations under my name at two different hotels? I'll be checking into one hotel with family (4 total) for a Monday to Friday reservation. Wife and I will check out Thursday (rest of family remains) and we'll check into a different hotel on Thursday. I know I'll only get points and night credits for one reservation but just wondering if they will cancel a reservation since they know I cannot physically be in both hotels for two days.

You'll be fine; nothing wrong with having multiple rooms in different hotels, I have even had rooms in different countries simultaneously.

I have an award rez for 4 nights (plus a second room for the kids on the paid family rate). Attached a club access award to each room. I am considering adding on 2 nights but would like to do so as paid nights (and also extend the kid room rez). Any suggestion on best way to do this? I don't want to have to use 2 more club awards. Can they add on paid nights to existing rez? merge? It's the GH Playa del Carmen.

Will my Globalist Concierge be able to help me, I have a 7 night award stay coming up at one of the category 2 hotels that will become category 1. That would equal quite a sum of award points back if I can get the 3000 points a night back, however the week is no longer available on points

mb

Does your stay have nights that are on or after March 18, when the category change goes into effect? If so, you should automatically get the points difference refunded.

Does a free night award count as tier-qualifying credit towards nights? I had one earlier this year that seems to have added a night to my counter but my latest one in Bogota didn't.

It should. I just had a three night award stay and it counted towards my Qualifying nights to Globalist.

The nights all count. Points, certificates, cash (assuming an eligible rate)... it doesn't matter.

If the nights haven't posted after 3 days, call and ask about it. I had 2 stays around December/January not post automatically. A phone call fixed it in both cases.

Also, the free nights count towards the current promotion (1000 pts/night starting with your 2nd stay) I just had a 2-night stay using two cat 1-4 certs and got 2000 pts and 2 qual nights.

Loving Hyatt IT so far...yes, I know it's not perfect, but it is light years better than Marriott.

HOWEVER - why do I have to re-type my e-mail address every time I check out in the app, to be sent the folio email? Everything is in there in my profile....what am I missing?

Honestly I don't know.. I never have to re-type my e-mail address in the app.
I'm using the Android App, that may be the difference. It also has more functionality than the iOS app... e.g. I can modify a reservation in Android, but not on my iPad...
