Would be pure speculation until property opens next month. You could try asking via their FB page.

Interestingly tried to use a suite upgrade but although the Hyatt rep could see availability he couldn't book it. Apparently not accepting upgrades until 15th November.

That is per WoH T&C, and has always been the case, suited upgrades cannot be booked until after the hotel is open.

If they move up the reservation date again (they did it once about a month ago), TSUs will be applicable from that date.

They are still moving very slowly, no real photos, etc.

They finally fixed the award points indication on the reservation page this past week to correctly show 25,000 pts for a free night and 12,500 pts for P&C.

Once again so much for Hyatt's T&C. One day they're disallowing things that should be allowed, and the next day just the opposite.

Their website is now indicating:

Restaurants opening on 26th October 2017, and stays from 15th November 2017

So I guess that is the "opening" stated in the interview with the GM.

I was hoping for this change! I will be in Singapore at that time and have booked a stay for November 1. I'll report back on the experience!

A review of your stay would be much appreciated. Some reviews of the restaurants have begun to appear on the internet.

And I'm wondering when they will ever add actual photos of the rooms to their website!

This is not new, but it is an interesting approximation of how much of the 39-story tower the Andaz occupies.

I noticed that too. A little odd there are still virtually no real pics.

There are no some user pics on TripAdvisor of what is most likely a standard king room. Looks like a very nice bathroom area and a rather compact sleeping area, which is our space allotment preference for a mid-size (38 m2) room. The image photos the hotel has been using for all room types seem likely to be for a junior suite.
