I am heading to the Excalibur this Sunday for a 5-night mattress run. I plan to sleep in the room for the first night.

p.s. Up above in this thread someone mentioned "some bugs" in the MGM/Hyatt communication software... but I was thinking of bed bugs when I read this and for a moment I freaked out a little bit.

I am going to book 4 rooms for my group at MGM for 1 night as Globalist/Mlife gold. Assuming room rates of $500 per room, total spend is $2k. Its been a while since i used mlife partnership. can you please confirm
1. I will get only 4x2k = 8k tier credits. This used to be much higher right??
2. I will get 5x2k = 10k hyatt points. Seems better than 4k tier credits. Not making a run for platinum anyways
3. Will i get resort fees waived on all rooms?
4. I am pretty sure i will get elite night credit for only 1 room

Anything i can do to get any perks like club access or dining comp

Yes to #3. I am MGM Gold and just checked out this week. Resort fees were waived for both of my rooms without asking. Resort fees were presented as part of the booking but like I said were taken off.

MGM hotel question

Do the offers on MGM Rewards site get better as you go up in status? Thinking of getting the mgm credit card to bump up to at least Pearl.

What’s the link to march my MGM Gold to Hyatt Explorists? I can’t seem to find a working Opt in link.

Edit: the opt in link only showed up when you’re logged in.

I was told will only get resort fees waived on up to 2 rooms at mgm. Good luck.

The Mirage has been sold to Hard Rock and will no longer be in the Hyatt and MGM Portfolio.

How does on ensure that my Hyatt # is attached to the reservation? Do I simply need to mention this on Check-in or is there any way to ensure this (e.g. annotating it with the reservation notes) before checking in?

If you do not have your Hyatt # connected yet... do it on your first check-in experience at the front desk.

Reposting as I’ve seen rates through the end of the year that are rock bottom prices. I’ve never seen Mirage price so closed to NYNY prices they’re usually worlds apart (3-5x pricing difference) guessing it’s likely do to being sold off and trying to get any revenue in they can before it goes to Hard Rock.
