Marriott just brought back the 3 stays for silver, too(10-14-1/31).
Decisions, decisions- Marriott silver for 3 stays, or Hyatt Diamond for 4.
(to be fair, the Marriott offer includes 2 free nights in addition to status).

i'm a legitimate hyatt diamond and marriott platinum and even here, there's no comparison between hyatt and marriott. yes, marriott has more hotels esp. in europe but the level of service has been much lower in my experience.

Well, I am AA EXP and got a comp. Diamond card in the mail (effective immediately) and I only need 4 stays between 9/15 and 12/15.
I did not get any type of email on this, it was an actual "package" in the regular mail. The letter with it specifically mentioned by AA EXP status in the 1st para., so they must have access to AA elite lists?
Since I have easily requalified for Hilton Diamond (the hard way = 60 nights), now I can try Hyatt.
Did any other AA EXP's get this in the mail?

I got the promo in the mail today. It said "... because you are an American Airlines Executive Platinum,..."
I stay in Hyatts from time to time, but always via Priceline (the Hyatt Cambridge comes up sometimes in the summer, as do various other Hyatts on weekends). On those stays, I don't even bother giving my Gold Passport number, although sometimes I succeed in getting AA miles.
When I pay anything other than Priceline rates, I almost always stay at a Hilton property because I get enough stays/year for work trips. So, there's no point in me trying to do this just to have Diamond status that I won't renew next year anyway.
Now, if there had been a Hyatt in Florence, then I would have made the effort, as I'm pretty sure I'm going there next fall and there is no Hilton property there.

I am a Delta PM and got the targeted promo. Normally I stay at Marriott but I'll grab the Hyatt bonus. My letter stated that I will also get an additional 2000 points per stay.
Maybe I can get the 2 stays/free night if I pay with my Mastercard.

I am a US Airways Chairman's Preferred and received my packet today (I guess they reached the bottom of the list). Kinda hard to not take advantage of this since I haven't been getting many breaks lately from US.
