Just an observation: All the confirmations I received are in KRW... Therefore it seems that the rate we are booking could change based on currency fluctuations....

I've been booking rooms, but is there any reason to be concerned with the following from my confirmations.
"other charges may apply for local amenities like safe warranties and telephone access. Local surcharges or service charges are not included in the total room rate. Local taxes may be additional"
Can they just decide to tack on resort fees and other crap to each reservation?

I would say thats your least worry on this booking.
No extra charges. Actually you probably wont be charged at all

That's pretty much what it is: No miles for Korea @:-)
I took once part in a bonus promotion (I think it was something like "sleep twice get one free night"). My two stays were in Thailand in a Ramada. And surprise, surprise, I did not get any credits (with reference to the above quoted page) @:-)
