For any hotel that I know of, you MUST stay , ie check in and out, before you get any credit irrespective of how the wording is.. eg 'xxx $ spent'.

Wyndham is a different animal. It allows you to get points for no-show.

During the US Airways Grand Slam last year, we slammed the poor inn in Cleveland with huge number of reservations. I had several, and all the points posted to US Airways and we all got the Grand Slam points.

If all else goes fine, Wyndham points should be posted to AC/CA etc....

Thanks OP! Making reservations now.

I am deciding which airline program I should credit the stays to (assuming they honor it).

WN - 0.5 credit/stay, technically 32 "stays" for a free flight?
AC - 250 miles/stay, so the 32 "stays" would have gotten only 8,000 miles?

The post from Tclin shows probably no points at all for this hotel since it's not in one of the participating countries... A room for this price without points is still a deal

While on the other side of the world I had a chat with my GF:

GF: what have you been doing today.
Me: I just booked some hotel nights.
GF: Cool, where?
Me: South Korea.
GF: What are we doing there?
Me: Well, ehmpf, we wont really have time to do much.
GF: I hate these layovers you add. How many nights did you book?
Me: Almost 250 nights.
GF: !?!?!?!?!?!
Me: Well...we are not actually going there.
GF: @:-) Yeah that makes sense.
