Edit: Just checked and the 500 miles for adding an email address isn't valid if you already have an email address registered..

Having some problems with the earn500 link getting a "You are not able to register for this promotion online. Please call the Hilton Reservations and Customer Care nearest you." message.

I think I must already have an email on file thats why it give the error. I did try and delete my on file email but still getting the "You are not able to register for this promotion online. Please call the Hilton Reservations and Customer Care nearest you." Message. Ahh well.

Ahh. I misunderstood where you were getting the error. I get the same message after I try to sign in. I have an email address registered.

So, looks to me like it is "back" for pdhenry but not necessarily the rest of us..............

IT is sad, HHonors are not encouraging me to stay at Hilton's. As a HH Diamond and SPG Platinum, I am staying at SPG properties more and more due to promotions and bonuses (most recently 700 bonus SPG points for elites until the end of April). Hilton needs to see that it needs to keep it's most loyal members.. well loyal. Especially with the the hotel categories changing in June, I am not seeing a way to earn more HHonors.. or stay there for those points.

I too am staying less and less at Hiltons because of their policy of targeted promotions. Anyone can get MegaBonus from Marriott. This time last year I already had 40+ nights with Hilton and none with Marriott, this year 38 with Marriott and 7 with Hilton. Hey Hilton...TARGET THAT!!!!!!!

Im getting a little bored of this lopsided behaviour on the part of HHonors, myself.

I stay at least 3 times/month and up to 7 on occasion. If Hilton thinks they have my business wrapped up, that is pretty sad.

Okay, I'm a tad confused here, although admittedly that sometimes doesn't take much. I can easily get to (didn't try to register) the 500 points for e-mail promo. Can anyone help in locating the Double Base Points promo? Or, is that another targeted promo that requires begging a CSR for?

B) the moaning begins :)

It almost unique in the lodging industry that some here feel hurt, insulted, neglected, even trampled on :rolleyes: just because they only received exactly what is promised to them.
So to assuage ones bruised ego?? its neccessary for us to endure all kinds of threats about moving over to a completing program ( who treats them the same anyway)
