Well, I had a stay booked after the bonus started back in October that never got the 1,000 bonus points. I've tried three times without success to get the bonus points, so now I've given up. However, at the time that bonus was announced it was for stays through sometime in March.

Whoever answered your call at Hilton, was incorrect (not a unique occurrence, by the way). Online booking bonus is alive and well through the month of March.

So there is a 1000 bonus for online booking as long as it is a double dip stay and you have registered for the promotion

I just updated my account (today) for the second time this quarter and immediately received my second 1000 point bonus - I previously updated my account for the first time a few weeks ago. So, the 1000 point bonus is still around.
