I got the triple points offer that I signed up for a few weeks ago for a stay in Birmingham UK last week. That made up for the current promotion only being good from the second stay.

So I only registered for this promo yesterday, but today I got an e-mail from Hilton indicating I had already satisfied the first stay requirement for the promo and all my future stays would earn double points. But as I mentioned, I only registered yesterday and the only Hilton stay I have during the promo period is an award stay from back in May, long before I registered.
Does anyone have experience with receiving double points after having their first stay be prior to registering for the promo?
(Apologies if this has already been covered, I only briefly skimmed the 150+ posts so far.)

I have had 8 stays so far at Hilton in July.. I have had more than 40 nights so far this year with Hilton. Points have always posted within 48 hours.
Infact they are even quicker about the 10k points every 10 nights and 10k points after 10th stay, and 15k after 15th stay and so on so forth..

For people who received their 10k bonus after 10 stays, can you please confirm that it was after 10 stays since May 6 and that the first stay within the promo period was only excluded for the purposes of double points, it was not excluded for the purposes of counting the number of stays? In other words, the 10k bonus was after 10 stays, not after 11 stays post May 6.
